About

Why cybersecurity

I spent years leading teams in retail and financial services. A lot of that was solving problems on the floor, training people, and dealing with messes when something went wrong. Somewhere in there I started caring more about the systems behind it all: accounts, networks, and the data people rely on every day.

So I went back to school, got a BAS in Cybersecurity at St. Petersburg College, and picked up CompTIA and ISC2 certs. Now I'm looking for IT support, help desk, or security work where I can use that and keep learning.
